Does anyone own this mouse that has previously used a Logitech MX Revolution? I'm wondering how the two of them feel in comparison to one another for weight and comfort, i've been through quite a few mice over the past few years and the MX has been by far the comfiest to use. Most mice feel too small or too light.

Sadly the MX is about 4 years old now, is starting to become a little unresponsive and the battery barely lasts a single day so it's time for a new one. I'd be open to other suggestions but my reason for asking about the g500 is it looks to be a very similar shape and size in the OcUK picture, plus comes with the boogie bug mouse mat.

i havent owned the revolution, but i have owned the mx5500 which is the keyboard and mouse set with a mouse very similar if not identical to that one

i now own the g500 mouse and i really think it is a far superior mouse - the button clicking is much more precise and accurate, the back of the mouse os much higher which is good for my large hands and the free-wheeling is a lot smoother than the mx5500 mouse - i like it a lot more

the ONLY thing that i missed was the zoom wheel on the side for photoshop

Own a G500 here, got it as a replacement for a G5. Very similair in weight/feel to the G5. So it took no time to get used to using it. Very comfy mouse to use, and it works very well with the boogie bug mat.

Thanks guys, ordered.

Hopefully this one does the job as the past couple i've had ended up in a drawer and went back to the MX :p
