Logitech G7 Problems...

hi guys,

so i have my G7 for a fair few months now and its been nothing short of great until about 3-4 days ago when it developed a habit of randomly freezing. Its not the battery as i have tried both at full charge and its not the signal sender as thats not moved so i cant figure out why its playing up, any ideas?

Yours isnt the first, and im sure it wont be the last G7 to do that. If you google G7 freeze, or anything similar you'll find quite a few people reporting that issue.

Luckily G7's have a 3 year warrenty, and it seems Logitech are quite happy to RMA them. RMA directly to logitech though, been waiting 2 months for my replacement mouse, but I RMA'ed via the retailer not Logitech. /sigh.
 
ill bring this back to life....

so can i rma this to OcUK as i cant find a logitech email address and i'm at work all day so dont have much time to phone them and the problem is getting worse!
 
Did you get anywere with this, as my G7 is doing the same thing, but only had it since Christmas.

I have changed my wireless frequency, unpluged my wireless skype phone, moved the reciever and re-installed software and still does it. Was not straight away however, only in the last week to 10 days.

Not sure what you did on the end but if at all possible I'd try and RMA straight to Logitech. I waited 8 weeks to get mine through OcUK, even though it was Logitech's fault.

If you can't just make sure you keep chasing them!
 
Just been to the Logitech website and found the there was setpoint 3.10, the software that came with my mouse was 2.45, even though i checked for updates it said there was'nt any...

Not sure if this will of fixed the problem or not as only did the update in the last 20mins.

I did not get the mouse from OcUk (first time that i have not bought my kit from them in a longtime!) as they did not have the Special Edition carbon ones with case etc, but does not matter as like many say will RMA back to Logitech if it comes to it.

I have googled and see, as you say that many people are having the same issues, some with the icemat as i have, although i did try using the mouse just on the wood surface and at the time made no difference.

Will let you kow if the 3.10 setpoint makes a difference.

Well, the freezing is back, sometimes it can be really bad and other times i can go a whole night and it won't do it. I have contacted Logitech via email to see what they say, but as yet have not had a reply.
