Logitech Harmony question

Just got my 600 in the post, but can't seem to find out if my exact need can be met.

The devices I will control:

Panny Plasma
Xbox
LED array
Microlab speakers

Now I know I can load the Microlab straight in as it's on the Logitech website, and that I will need to manually add my LED array controls, but can you mix and match profiles?

I want to load all the controls of my plasma, apart from the volume, which I want to operate the volume of my Microlabs. This means I don't need to switch between devices to control the tv and volume.

Can I load the whole tv remote on the the harmony, then replace the volume controls for that of the Microlabs?

Thanks

Yeah, I know I can load a profile for my tv remote, and a profile for the speakers, but I want them to exist on the remote as a single merged profile, just swapping the tb volume up, down and mute for those of the speakers.

Will have a play tonight!

If you've added your amp to the remote, then when you are setting up your activities, select your amp as the device for sound/volume and it'll automatically set your amp volume controls to the volume buttons, there should be no need to manually override anything.

What happens when your amp has settings not present on a normal tv remote?

Mine has treble and bass increase/decrease and a 'select source' option, the latter being something I don't need to use.

That worked so easily!

I love how it automatically assumed I would be using the speakers instead of the tv for audio when I added the devices. LED array went in without a hitch too!
