Logitech K750 Solar Powered KB

As mentioned, 3 months in complete darkness, there is no charge time, it's always charging wherever there is light so you should never run out of battery as long as the KB is in some form of ambient light!

Good to hear! You do have a right click key btw, it is the FN+PRINT SCREEN key, you should be able to easily press both with thumb and finger in a quick action :)

It is quite a heavy beast too, certainly doesn't look it when considering the thickness!

It's where the Internet is, a select few people get chosen to look after the Internet every month, my time was when I wrote the review so the pics could be uploaded faster to the Internet. :)

It's actually a Western Digital 1TB HDD!

Although batteries aren't really a problem for Logitech keyboards (most run for 9+ months on a set of AAA for example) the thickness is much nicer on the solar due to not having to bother with them :p

Keyboard is still going good for me, keys still feel great and typing is fast and quiet. I find myself touch typing a lot more than ever before and the 2nd half of this post was touch typed!

Gaming wise it's also been a joy.

Ah yes, I use screen cleaning wipes to clean smudged and so on but a microfibre cloth just to keep dust off it every few days.

I too have noticed under some lighting conditions the faint scratches, much like how car bodywork has the cobwebbing effect under strong sunlight but I've seen this happen on any piano black plastic gadget as well.

I'm sure the others will agree here with their experiences but for me the gaming experience has been excellent, it's the same with my previous keyboards and the same with wired. No real difference, instant response and nice feeling keys with a raised bottom row to help gaming as well (although I imagine Logitech did this to aid typing mainly but it helps gamers more!).

You get media controls of course as well as function keys. you just have to press the FN button to invoke a media action or function call.

Return key hasn't really bothered me at all, in fact I never realised until you mentioned it!

The battery will slowly charge even at 200lux but if you open your curtains when at work or whatever it will be fine and never rund ry. I'm at 99% right now and my blinds are partially closed when I'm not home.

Dropping 2% is absolutely nothing to be concerned about. It will charge itself during the day anyway even at 150 lux.

Unless you rest your chubby arms on it at the top then the extending feet are no a problem. It should be flat anyway :p

I've had the K750 boards since release. All have been fine, nothing has broken and the key wear is better than others I have had including the Dinovo For Notebooks which was about the same weight and thickness.

You don't say what kind of room lighting you have and what power.

Mine have had no issues as I open my blinds most days.

Absolutely no problems here with either of mine as mentioned with charging in room lighting or window lighting. Drop takes weeks to occur if I give it no light.

How long are you leaving it on after you say you charged it in light? Also something on your PC may be stopping the KB from going into "sleep" mode.

I definitely think yours is faulty dude.

Mine holds charge in accordance with what Logitech spec, about 2 months.

Both if mine^^

Just contact Logitech and they will send you a new one pronto.

That happens on my app too. It goes up until it reaches the "actual" charge of the battery. I don't think the solar app keeps track in the background so is playing catchup on each press.

I've had all the MX mice. Currently use the PMX at work and the G700 at home. The PMX is great but you really do realise it's not as responsive as the G700 even though the PMX is more responsive than the MX Revolution although not as responsive as the MX1000.

The G700 needs to charge daily as the charge holds for 8 hours usage since it's a performance mouse.

The PMX lasts several days on one charge. If you don't do gaming then PMX yeah.

The K750 sounds clicky?

What's the ear expert version of Vision Express? :p

The K750 sounds similar to Apple's keyboard and pretty much most other high end chiclet keyboards found on laptops and things. There's a metal skeleton underneath so it should sound satisfying and feel it too.
