Plus the screen is a nice feature...It does lack the USB port, however I have never really needed to use it. And unless I am mistaken, it is a data only port.

I agree the backlighting is a little dim but I think if it were too bright it'd catch your attention too much...
The backlighting on the G11 is brighter than the G510, and there are two brightness settings. Something which I think should have stayed.
Some higher end keyboards like the Blackwidow Ultimate have lots of different brightness levels ranging from barely visible to HOLY **** MY EYES![]()
AhhSorry to ask, you do have the brightness turned up in the settings?
If I'm honest, I'm weary of mine as my other one broke, scared it might have been me (for whatever reason, doubt it was as the report of the same failure is there)
