I'm going to get it in the new year I think, I have 50% Logitech direct discount so will make use of it.

It's the logical upgrade to the Revolution with smoother lines so more comfortable to hold no doubt. Plus it has the universal receiver so your next upgrades to Logitech wireless kit will save you some USB slots!

the other big difference i gather is the performance has an removable battery, so instead of having to replace the mouse when the battery gives up you can just change the battery

thinking of getting one of these in the new year too, look sweet

The Revolution battery is not known for failing :p I mean my MX Rev is 2~ years old and I have had many since the first MX Rev was released and none had battery issues!

The bonus here is that the MX Performance battery will last a lot longer. Weeks instead of days between charges due to it being better implemented and obviously newer tech :)

I might get one of these too. My revolution is starting to look abit worse for wear. I've still got two mx1000's sat in a drawer somewhere but the charging stand doesnt work anymore.

The only problem I find with the MX Performance, is the scroll wheel is either to stiff or too loose depending if you have the clicking wheel is turned on or off.

Other than that it is a very good mouse, very smooth movement, and fits in the hand well.

Got my Logitech MX Performance Mouse today, Amazing how smooth on my Razer mat (Its like floating on ice), never had such a amazing mouse , only trouble was the price tag £ £ £

I would defo recommend this mouse for any gamer or internet user :D

Hope the wheel design is different to the MX Revolution as the wheel fecks up after about 18 months, well, mine did anyway.
