After seeing the posts about logitechs fantastic warrenty and support I decided to take a chance with my old G15 + G7 which i've had for probably 4-5 years.
The keyboard has a dodgy USB cable and you have to fiddle with it sometimes to get it to work, and the mouse batteries don't last long at all now, few hrs gaming max.
I told them all these details with serial numbers etc and they said that due to the age of both products they couldn't replace them but they would be happy to send me a 50% off code to use in their online shop!
So after looking in their shop online i'm going to get a G Series bundle;
Logitech G510 Keyboard
Logitech G700 Mouse
Logitech G930 Wireless Headset
Normally £337.99, but currently on offer for £248 but with my 50% off all 3 come to £124. Bargain! (all 3 from ocuk £314)

Just gotta wait for my code to come through now, aparently it is only valid for 30 days and 1 order only.

Lucky you, i got a dodgy mx518 i got 2 months ago and they offered me another one which I felt like telling them they can keep their crappy mouse :), buying a razer or roccat now i think.

Usually Logi's support is pretty abysmal from what i've heard.

Prays to god my g35 lasts a long time so I can get 50% off :D
er its known as the best suport from any company... theres atleast 2 threads on thesr forums fairly large from people who got amazing support.

most people within warranty have nearly always had a replacement shipped without any hassle and they dont aske for the old wants to be returned

Quite the opposite.

My 5 year old Logitech joystick developed a small fault late last year so I emailed them.

Sent me a brand new one for free and it turned up 2 days later.

You must be thinking of another company.

Just two!? :p I'm seeing almost one a day these days.

My MX1000 became faulty a few years ago, a couple of months out of warranty. They weren't making them anymore, so they linked me to their mouse page and said pick one and they'll send it :D

Still got that G5 I picked to this day.

Only problem I have with the G5 is the fact that they put material over the cable. Completely pointless stuff that just wears through on the edge of the desk and looks nasty. Took a blade to it and got it all off, now it looks good again!

I now have Logitech G15, G5 and Z323 :)

Thats a little surprising. I have had a G5 since launch and the only thing I have had to replace was the teflon feet a couple of times as I had worn them out. However my friend who used razer mice went through a couple a year. He bought an mx518 out of frustration and hasn't changed since.

realscot, the 50% off voucher is only valid for a single item, it's not 50% off your basket total :( I was going to do the same with but it wouldn't let me :(

Their customer service is amazing, but they won't let us take the **** lol

But surely as it's a bundle it'll only count as 'one' item?

Thats what im hoping. It does show up in the basket as 3 items, but the mouse is free as that is the promotion deal. It is clearly worded in the email I got from customer support as "one order" and not "one item" so if I have to i'll phone them and damn well demand that I get my 50% off 1 order as I was promised I will.

^ You sure infernox?

I've been in the same situation as the OP; Logitech said that they've changed how the voucher system works now; meaning you can't use it on bundles.

If you e-mail them and say that you're interested in that bundle, I'm pretty certain that they'll give you 2 more vouchers just like what they did for me ;)

Could you please give me the contact details for Logitech as I would like to get in touch regarding a faulty 5.1 speaker system. It failed after just 9 months and I never bothered to replace them as it was only one speaker and it ment having to ship the whole unit back.

After hearing these success stories however, I may aswell see what they say.
