Boooooohooooo

Having heard about the great support and feedback from Logitech Support. My Z-10 are playing up, out of warranty and from hearing all the excellent support service I was hoping they would do something extra for me.

Got an update on my ticket and the short answer is = NO

Well I tried...

Too bad. I can't see how it's unfair that they won't give you a free replacement for an out of warranty product.

he never said it was unfair, i think he's just a little upset as logitech have in the past given replacements for their products well outside of warranty.

You said it your self that it was out of warranty! I think of all the cases of good customer service stories we have heard and I personally went through were with in warranty period.
On another note I got my replacement MX-518 yesterday(12/01/2011) after phoning them on friday(07/01/2011)

Just to add, yes I was in fact hoping Logitech would send out a free replacement. I just kept on hearing such good news about their replacement service even outside of the warranty period. Thought I might try my luck but my Z-10 are still working and the LCD has the bloody annoying flickering issue:mad:

I think the good service I've heard was for replacements under warranty, not out of warranty.

I asked logitech customer support for some new stands for my G15 keyboard, no stands arrived they just sent me a new G15.

logitech are awesome :D

Mine was out of warranty, no receipt, no serial number. They sent me a new g15.
But then I never filed under claim, I emailed supper asking if they sold replacment membranes. They also seems to be lesswilling on cheaper products, especially low end mice.

Ask if you can have a discount voucher to purchase a new one. I've got two friends, one who managed to get a 50% voucher and the other with a 40% voucher.

I recently spoke to customer support and they sucked. They were fairly quick at getting back to me but the woman i spoke to severally lacked any technical knowledge.

Logitech have the best customer service I've ever dealt with.

My MX518 started playing up, randomly disconnecting from the USB and reconnecting. All it took was an email to them, they asked for proof of purchase, which I sent, and I got a brand new replacement within about 3 days sent straight from Germany.

My z-5500's blew out of warranty. They didnt offer me a new set but offered me £200 off the price of a new set. Making them £100 which i thought was very reasonable.
