Logitech support rocks!!! can have my babies!!!

They make great budget/mid range peripherals, and they seem to last forever/until I spill orange juice on them.

unplug, take out any batteries, hold under cold tap then soak in warm water for 5 minutes. Leave for 2 days to dry - I've never had anything spilt on a keyboard actually break it yet!

Given most of my life to Logitech, they are awesome.

Logitech G9x - Check
Logitech G7 - Check
Logitech G19 - Check
Logitech Anywhere MX - Check
Logitech G25 - Check
Logitech Z2300 - Check

Recently broken the little feet that attach the palm rest to the keyboard on my G19, so an e-mail shall be sent tonight! :)

Also just had great support from them as well. My Mx518, which was 2 years old started to break, mouse buttons weren't as responsive and the right click had a funny click noise as well as the sensor just not feeling as precise/accurate so after about 3 or 4 emails (had to send of my receipt), the guy sent out a brand new G400 as my warranty replacement :D Order was processed through UPS on the 19th and it arrived on the 24th.

Bought the MX518 from the purple shirt place.

All of my peripheral devices will be Logitech from now on, best company ever! :D Come on OCUK have a superb deal on the K750 keyboard! :p

did u have to send ur old mouse back to them before hand?

just asking cause when my speakers broke they wanted them sent back first

I've just contacted them about the buzzing from my S220 speakers, they have just sent out a brand new set of Z313 speakers as they no longer stock the S220.

They are bloody wonderful.

Yes Logitech service is great, however some of their products are mince. i have in front of me a set of g930's which were a warranty replacement and now broke again in the exact same place. not what i expect from £140 worth of equipment.

I had a 2 year old mouse where the left click had become very sticky.

A quick email to logitech and they sent me out a brand new mouse.

Amazing customer support.

iv started a claim for my mouse and they want me to send my mx518 back to them , i wonder why this is

edit : Thank you for contacting Logitech's Customer Care.

According to the new procedures we need to have all faulty item before sending replacement out.

Have a nice day.

... well that kinda screws things up as i would be without a mouse for atleast a week which just cant happen

Oh wow, when this happened on my 2.5 year old deathadder, I simply bought a new mouse.

I'm currently using a Gigabyte mouse and Microsoft keyboard, never touching Razer and Saitek again, they keep on breaking.

Happened to me too when my Unifying receiver magically died, asked for a new one and they sent one, next day delivery from the netherlands!! <3 Logitech

Hmm, not too sure  Probably just comes down to who you speak to.

You could just buy a cheap £4 mouse for the time being :p

but their hardware looks crap.

I think their keyboards, mice and speakers look the best, far better than all the cheap glossy looking products from other companies IMO. They are the only ones to still provide a sleek/minimal design approach to some of their products.

guys do you think this sounds like a cheeky reply?

Thank you for contacting Logitech's Customer Care.

NO we cannot make any compromise.

Please wait fot your E-label because if you keep sending email it will delay the shipping label as everytime you send to me an email the RMA department send to me the case.

Have a nice weekend

---

kinda feels like im being shouted at i guess and being told to go away hmm ;x

i got told they will give me 50% coupon anything on site for my broken "out of warranty" g7 , but there websites seems so overpriced

and they want me to send my mx518 in which can have a 3 week turn around kinda useless

feels like there CS has gone way down hill from when i used to deal with them , would prefer to get asked to cut the cord of old mouse and show video / picture rather then having to waste time sending but meh :/

dono if i will even bother to send or claim the voucher i feel let down by Logitech now and i wont be suggestion them to my friends anymore as i used to say there CS was second to none but some of the reply's iv been getting are just not what i would expect but w/e.

this actualy manage to put a smile on my face, brings back good old memories of my Logitech G7, support was great xD!.. well done Stulid hazzzaaaaar

Logitech have asked to have "faulty" products back for quite a while - with your MX518 they will probably replace it with a brand new G400 which is the MX518 replacement - this is what they done with me when mine started playing up. RMA processes can take a long time, to expect a quick turnaround is unreasonable in my opinion - they are replacing your faulty goods at little to no cost to you!

Grab yourself a cheap £3 mouse to use for a week and get the MX sent off, will be well worth it.
