So basically I bought my G11 off of OcUK about the second on september and only just realised now because my brother noticed, that I have 2 F5 keys on my keyboard and not an F4.

Quite trivial but from what I've heard of the logitech support, is that it's amazing. I just sent them this in their support:

Hi,
I have a logitech G11 keyboard which I bought from www.overclockers.co.uk.
The keyboard came with two F5 keys, and is missing an F4 key, just wondering if you could send me an F4 key?

I have proof of purchase if needed and have included a picture of the keyboard which is attached.

Regards,

**** Mason.
Here's the pic for anyone who's wondering:

What do you think they will do? Send me a new keyboard or just the key itself?

logitech usually are pretty good with things like this.

i would be very surprised if they dont send out a new key.

they might even give u a coupon to use in the logitech shop

Logitech support is indeed very good (from first hand experience), but your first port of call should be the retailer as that is who you have entered into a contract with. For something so obvious, I'd be very surprised if either doesn't simply send you a new keyboard in exchange.

Logitech support is quite awesome, I'm sure they'll just send you out a key.

Just search Logitech on here and you'll find numerous threads on how good they are with warranties and stuff! :)

Indeed it is a manufacture fault / issue but you bought the KB from OCUK not from Logitech.
The regs =
YOU return to place of Purchase (OCUK)
OCUK to resolve the issue (The Agent)
The Agent to raise case with Logitech
Logitech to reimburse The Agent.

There e-mail service is lacking sometimes. But the phone support is perfect. Got a replacement for my G9 just a couple of weeks ago. The sent a G9x. Then just last week they sent me a 2nd. Sat here waiting for them to ask for it back.

But A1 support.

I reckon they'll send you a brand new G11 and ask you to cut the USB connector off the end of your old one and send them a photo of that.

while thats true, for something thats an easy fix like this, it would be less hassle for you if logitech are willing just to send a replacement key.

at least then u dont have to arrange returning it, having no keyboard for abit, etc

unless of course u want a full replacement, but personally, i would be happy just with a replacement key for less hassle
