Hi, I have a Logitech cordless desktop Wave keyboard and mouse combo. While I love the keyboard, I've hated the mouse since I got it so I was wondering if I bought a better Logitech mouse would it run off the same reciever or would I need to use the one that came with the new mouse ?

I've got my eye on a g700 or performance MX

Unfortunately, most receivers operate at varying channel frequencies, so it is unlikely that a different model of mouse would connect to your existing receiver.

However, Logitech's technical team would know a lot more about this than I do, so I suggest you give them an email.

G700 needs its own usb receiver, I have one, however a lot of new Logitech stuff use the unifying receivers, but not all, so best check before hand :)
