So last night one of my speakers just fell apart, so i'm left with a 4.1 setup instead of 5.1 and i feel 5.1 is actually too much just for my computer now anyway (i have no wall mounts etc, it's just speakers on shelves around me).
I figured i'd rather have a 2.1 setup, and i've heard good things about both these sets of 2.1 speakers but i need abit of information. Right now, there's £7 difference (Logitech being more expensive, as the Aego M's are in This Week Only). Is that £7 worth it? Which set has most sound control? Do both have a handheld volume changer? Do either of these sets of speakers have any known problems?
Also, i'm using a Creative Live! Soundblaster 24bit sound card (in PCI), is this good enough to get the most out of these speakers? I also try and do abit of guitar recording through a microphone that goes into this sound card but i gave up because of the latency when recording/playback - shall i upgrade my sound card too?
Cheers.
