Logitech Z-5500 or Creative GigaWorks 7.1 S750 + Mounting on walls

I'm in a very similar situation, I currently have a set of Creative T5900's and am debating whether it's worth upgrading to the Logitech Z-5500's or the Gigaworks G500's. Any advice? I don't need/want a 7.1 system, 5.1 is plenty for me. :D

The main thing I don't like about the T5900's is the horrible rattle they make with the bass high, it's so annoying. It's definately not something else that's loose, it's not that kind of rattle, it's really less of a rattle and more of a... bad bass I suppose. :S

Lastly, I have a Creative X-Fi Fatal1ty, is it worth using the built in decoder or using the one in the Z-5500's (if I choose those over the G500's)?

Sorry to hijack the thread. :S

Good question though as I am thinking of upgrading to the Fatal1ty.

Can you switch off the decoder on the Z5500 and use it simply as a pass-thru?

I have the 7.1 gigaworks (didnt know there was a 5.1 version thought it was called something else) but yeah - the wall mounts that come with it only point forward so your only able to have them in one direction UNLESS you buy seperate wall brackets (they are cheap enough come on) and then you can do what ever you want - but I've found that once you have them set in place you never touch them again unless your moving them to a different room and that. but your only meant to have speakers to the same level as your head.
