I don't wish to put words into the OP's mouth but i'm guessing he may have meant professional looking and not necessarily logo's done by a professional GA.

yeah ok i agree completely :)

HTML - he asked for professional designs, that denotes paid work, what I should have said is "nobody is likely to produce you professional work without payment". Purely because designers capable of producing professional work will be doing things such as this for a fair whack of money :p

If I was to produce several designs that I felt worthy of being the face for a company then I would be spending many hours to get it right. If someone wants to knock something out really quickly for fun then thats up to them, but its not likely to be of a professional standard.

To be honest, if the company is so concerned about the logo (damn right it should be concerned) why is this gent asking for free logos from a forum anyway?

Even if there's not a perfect design, its nice to be able to get some ideas
Also, sometimes it's fun to be a bit creative for the hell of it. I'm sure that was partly Tom's reason for having a go, fancied a challenge.

If I wasn't busy today I'd have a little play.

Oh dont get me wrong, thats how I took it aswell, but professional looking designs tend to be done by pro's...or at least people that deserve to be :)

i thought he was looking for design ideas rather then fully fledged logo designs

u know positioning of text + images etc etc

perhaps the OP is a bit vague

damn you OP'r :p

Nail... Head..

Christ guys, I didn't realise I had to think about my exact wording.

If it was integral to a fulltime business then I would have gone to a company, it's a bit different to a guy who does a few odd jobs here and there and wants a logo to put on a fleece.
