Nothing like some fresh stereotypes. I'm not familiar with that period in Russian history though

You can't really make a statement about such a wide period of history :S Russia changed dramatically during those times. You've just covered the Duma's, Fall of the Tsar, World War I, Lenin and the Russian Revolution, the NEP and part of Stalin's rule.

Russia changed a fair bit during each of those things. You can't just make one statement that covers that entire period.
