Basic(contract Hrs) 52.50 £270ish

Hrly Bristol Allow. £5.25

I get £3.5k a year London Weighting but it hasn't changed in over 10 years

exactly this haha, i dont have separate breakdowns but since no firm that i would work for is outside london i guess it makes sense...

oh and some parts of london really are lovely, just expensive...

ps some french even commute from paris apparently lol

Well I'd say "commute" in a loose sense of the word. Some pop over for a few days (my friends and family included). I don't think anyone would actively commute daily... though it would be possible I guess. It'd either make a very short working day or a very long working day! Furthermore it wouldn't be cheap!
