There is a long delay to windows xp loading bar after post screen, something like 10 seconds. I have even disabled floppy disk in bios and enabled quick boot, I can't quite point to what the problem is. Not even sure it is hardware or OS related.

Maybe it could be sign of my harddrive early problem? I am going to download hitachi disk diagnosis but is there any boot ISO to download that comes with everything including every disk manufacturers' diagnosis?

What should I check next?

Cheers

Ok, my drive has passed Hitachi's drive fitness test! I have run Bootvis and the graph shows that hdd doing nothing for the first 6 seconds before starting to spin. It is enabled in DMA mode and I can't find anything odd with it, maybe it's time to change IDE? I don't have one so I will get it.

My integrated LAN has failed a month ago, maybe it's the sign of my mobo going to fail?! But boot up problem has been like that for some months now, I can't remember how it started...

I'm not sure if you've done this already but i would disable everything in the bios that you are not using e.g. onboard LAN, sound, RAID, etc. Also disable any IDE channels that you are not using (if possible).
Could you tell us which motherboard you're using?
