Have just sent a webnote to OCUK. And then have seen this thread so sorry about the small dig about this week only! Nearly ordered this last night about 10.30pm but was in bed and debit card was down stairs, but thought its TWO so no worries i'll grab it tomorrow.

Logged on and price had gone up to £349.99 so sent a little web note to see what can be done. Can i squeeze in on this at the cheaper rate??? PLEASE :)

Missed it again!

Ah well, at least the temptation to spend more money is gone and I've convinced myself I can make do with my Dell U2412M for a bit longer.
 
If you cannot keep the offer on for the week long special Gibbo you could at least leave it on for the day and than say reset it at midnight so day workers have chance to order when we get back home.

Its amazing what they do for some!

Heres my current experience, ordered 600watt power supply took delivery of 400 watt power supply inside a 630watt power supply box just loose inside! No offer of an alternative or similar/better version just a refund after ive.returned it which was either waiting in for collection or driving to a drop off location, waited longer for it to come than I should have too, great service for some just not everyone, caused me no end hassle.

Honestly thought they did better than that from reading how great others have been treated.

I think as with all large businesses, and considering how many products OCUK must ship out the gates every day, there are bound to be the odd mistake along the way. After all they are only human like the rest of us. But unfortunately if its one of the first times you've dealt with a company i agree it can leave a little bit of bad taste and that sounds like a simple mistake that has been made and the outcome was probably the only solution to protect themselves as a business from false claims. I think if you read the forums you will see the amount of people who rate OCUK service so highly and infact who will only order from them. Hopefully your next experience is a much better one :)
 
Its far from my first order ive spents LOADS of money here with mostly excellent service although this is my first problem im mightly glad i havent had others if its how they treat these things, this one shocked me i have to say, it put me in a bad spot and has meant finding money i didnt have to buy another unit, reading how far they will go "sometimes" just rattled my chains I guess.

Well thanks Gibbo, I returned the psu today via a drop off point. I will however drop you an email, like i say ive spent a lot here i always come here first but this experience just didnt feel like ocuk to me i was surprised to not be offered a bit of help, but its great to get an honest fair reply from top brass, best regards.
