Hello

I'm in need of two new front tyres and after today one rear tyre due to a puncture. My existing tyres have done 37k miles (Michelin Energy XH1).

I've searched the forums for recommendations and Eagle F1 seems to come up time and time again. However I was shocked to find that they only last 10k

My wheel size is 185/55/R15. I've searched etyres, mytyres, and blackcircles and they are all coming up with prices of around ~£75 each.

Would it be best to replace the one remaining rear tyre which is still ok? Any recommendations for longer lasting tyres which are good in the wet? Car is a Renault Clio. Thanks.

Long lasting? Avoid Toyo:p

Have you looked at Avon? Good, well priced tyres with lifetime guarantee.

Edit, Have a look at the ZZ3's unless we're talking about a 1.2 Clio or something.

Goodyear NCT5 (I think) lasted just over 35k (on the front).

Superb, I just bought 4 of 'em. I also do about 4K miles a month!

Don't go for Pierlli P6000 they're great in the dry and rubbish in the wet

My dads e39 528i has done 42k on its set of Michelin Energy's!

I barely got 13k from a whole set of bridgestone Potenzas! :(

I got some Michelin Primacy HP' fitted to my car a few months back, they are pretty expensive but one of the directors at work has them on his merc and they last ages :)

Ive had 45k from the fronts, and so far 62k from the rears (nearly dead now) from my michelin energies. Thats with 95% hooning too, abeit not on a very powerful car. :)
