.. can anyone help me with this.

A few years ago I was very interested in a case I saw reviewed on an american site. The key feature I wanted was the ability to electrically select from a switch on the case front one of three internal hard drives prior to powering up. This is like having three bootable drives in three different drive caddies but has the advantage of keeping drives internal, cooled by case fans, and avoids the expense of buying decent caddies.

I eventually discovered that a certain high street supplier whose staff look wonderful in purple was due to sell it. I waited several months for the case to arrive, and eventually it did. BUT the utter utter morons were selling a special UK edition, ie stripped down version without my little unique selling point switch (and without a load of soundproofing features as well).

Anyone in the UK know of a similar switch selectable feature for power and IDE (or SATA) for the drives in a case.

Thanks

Can't say I've heard of a case like that. Is dual-booting not an option?

In the past I have used dual boot, boot managers, caddy drives and so on.

The method I am talking about here is just so basic and so right I am amazed it isn't in common use, especially now that hard drives are so big and so cheap.
