Had a nasty suprise today when a fairly new drive controller board went.
I know I could ask Maxtor for a swap but I need the data off of the disk first - its pics of my nippers that I should have backed up a long time since!!
So what I am after is the controller board off of a dead (as in motor / plater problems) drive.
As I said, know its a long shot but really need to try !!
