i got the q strap for like 6 pounds i think

i saw it is virtually identical to the black rapid strap. black rapid must make a fortune!

i tell a lie mine has a little K on it. but same strap exactly, must be the same production line and it was 7 pounds
i think the logo must be made of gold for black rapid
silver for q-strap
bronze for K one i got

People say that all the time. Almost every time the product is not made on the same production line. Even if it's made in the same factory that doesn't mean it's made with the same materials.

Which has nothing to do with the BR strap and everything to do with the poor quick release D ring. Perhaps they went for a 3rd party version of their manufacturers one as "it looks the same".

The D-Ring was a standard one, probably not meant to have the camera hung from it... I don't think you need to worry about Black-Rapid products.

They used the standard D ring on the screw for the plate which isn't designed to have load hung from it, so nothing blackrapid actually failed. Might be worth reading things before you use them as a source before you make yourself look like an idiot.
