Hellooooo all :D


I have had my xbox 360 since release day and last night I finally got 1000 gamer points!!!

I think I must be the slowest person when it comes to gamer points!!!

At last I have 1000!!! YAY

I am creeping towards it 3 months after orginally getting the console!

It is pretty slow but if you stay away from the games which give the points away it's quite easy to take a while. Games like Saint's Row/Gears of War/Viva Pinata where you have to take time and maybe redo things to get the achievements mean it's a lot slower than playing something like King Kong which just gives you them.
 
Congratulations! You can get 1000 points just by playing through King Kong. Not difficult at all that one.

I'm currently driving myself bonkers playing Call of Duty 2 on Veteran difficulty just so I get the points. Not enjoying it at all. Stupid boy. Should have played it on normal on PC. :D

And when you've finished that you have to do COD3 ;)

And nothing wrong with King Kong, some of the Kong sections are great fun. I agree though; an easier 1000 points you'll not find :)

HAHA Well I'm a bit crap and also I like to think its the games I play. I did play PGR but got bored with that, then need for speed most wanted for ages and ages! Now I play the new need for speed and gears of war.

10k!! Wow give me another 9years and I will be there!!! haha! :D

Thanx for the kind words, I do think it might be a mile stone now and the points might come flouding in.... or maybe not :D haha
 
It's easy to not get 1k if you get bored of games quick, a lot of them reward you a lot towards the end or if you 100% complete it, so if you dont make it that far then your not gonna get the points.

Before i got all involved in getting them it was about 1 month or so till i got 1k.

Most wanted was pretty good because all the gamer points were from the single player career mode and doing the races was fairly easy it was the purcuits that did my head in when you got to no 3 in the blacklist , getting busted all the time :mad: , i wish i hadnt sold mine now .

Exactly, I spent so long trying to do the lasy police chase to challenge black list number 2 but nooo could I do it!!

Those police challenges just got too hard I thought!! Cost to state of 200,000 and be able to get away?? Do they think I'm god or something!!!

Still good game though :D

And to McDaniel who doesn't like playing with themselves ;)
 
Yep Fight Night, Amped 3 and COD 2 all have very quick acievements to get (well maybe veteran takes a while, but if you're persistant you can do it in a a couple of days.)

FIFA 06 is about 3-4 hours.
King Kong is less than a day
NBA2K6 is about 15 minutes
FN3 is about 8 hours
NHL 2K6 is about 5 minutes if lucky
Cars is about 5 hours
Open Season is about 4 hours
Eragon is about a day and a half
Madden 06 is about 5 hours.

There's 9000 points there, all can be got in under a week :)

If dedicated, NFS:MW, Blazing Angels, LMA 2007, X-men, Tomb Raider and 2006 World cup can all be got in 3-4 days each.

In a month it's very possible just to rack up 15,000 with just the easier games.

My mate has had his 360 since 3rd March, and he has a grand total of 57 points :)

He only has Table Tennis, and never gets any points.
