Expensive until you compare it to the redharbinger desk case, then it looks better value. No real sacrifice on rad space either going by the fan options listed.

it has a keyboard desk that goes on the front for mouse and keyboard.

personally i'd use the desk I don't like keyboard desks infront of tables.

I think it looks stunning we all have come to know and respect Lian Li's love of over engineering and this is no exception

Except the mouse area is too shallow, so the front end of the mouse (ie, the cable), will constantly hit against the front of the panel. Unless you use a wireless mouse, this case was very poorly designed for peripherals (not to mention it's just plain overpriced).

when compared to the inWin DFame mini it looks properly good value for money M9

you came into a thread with the title "Look At These Expensive Cases We Sell" and were surprised to see expensive cases presented to you.

I'm not sure really... I expected expensive cases when I came in here, but those prices to seem a bit steep. I understand that Lian Li do charge a premium price as they are premium products, but £800?

Inwin produced a case last year - In-Win H Frame King HPTX
http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18538241

it cost £1099 for a full tower chassis. Everyone on the forums moaned and complained that it was crazy expensive.

We sold out of them within hours of getting stock and every limited shipment we got was all pre sold before the stock landed. So there really is a market for very high end chassis like this.

The fact that this is unique because it is a desk, includes premium materials such as glass and the increased size which will make shipping costs higher also, it starts to make sense.

Look at it this way: A Standard enthusiast class Lian Li case is £300.

it makes sense that a desk made by the same manufacturer costs around double the money, when it is double the size, uses double the materials and requires double the tooling.

You actually sold those?

I must say that I am surprised. Those mega expensive InWin cases were the only things I honestly thought just wouldn't sell at all. :p

£600 cases, £1500 media box cases with a screen, the £2000 Titan Z, etc, I knew there would be enough mental people to buy them... But not those. :p

Surely with that desk case either the top is going to be too high to be comfortable to use, or the bottom too low to get your legs under!
