Profit? There are three servers.
Tranquility (the main server that everyone plays on)
Singularity for testing new patches (everything is 100ISK at seeded stations and the mirror is taken from TQ every now and again)
Multiplicity (internal server for Dev testing and rare player testing like in this case)
Anything you do on Singularity or Multiplicity has no effect on anything on character on Tranquility, so as you say when they next mirror TQ to the test servers, anything you have done on there will be lost (skills, ships, corps etc.)

Woohoo... Downloading now, i just need Apple to pull there finger out a either re-price the x1900xt (£270 for a £80 GFX card is taking the pee) or release a new gfx card for the Macpro.
In fact ill have to find out if this runs better on my MBP with its 8600M GT rather than the lowly 7300GT in my MP.
