Looking at buying a returned 83" LG G4 - Am I mad?

I have just moved house, and my 65", 10+ year old LG has quite a bit of screen burn, and is also now quite small for the new living room.

I was looking at upgrading to a new LG G4 77", as there are quite a few deals about at the moment. Although 77" is probably still a little small for the room, it's what I can afford to pay currently.

I noticed one place selling a few returned ones, they have the the styrofoam marks from transit, so have rubbed the anti glare coating off. This is not visible when the screen is on, only off so it's not a huge deal.

They currently have an 83" for less than the price of a new 77" with very minor marks.

You only get 1 year warranty with it though. A new one from some places gets 5 year full warranty with domestic and general. I am pretty sure all LG OLEDs get the 5 year screen burn warranty though, just not parts and labour?

Unless there is something im missing?

Am I mental for considering it?

If it's the one on ebay, I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole. £3400 is way too much for a screen in that condition. I bought a 77g3 brand new for 2300 last year.
There are two on eBay by the same seller, but I saw them on their website originally. One is slightly cheaper than the other as it has a dead pixel too.

The 77" new is £3999 and the 88" is £5999 from most places, so it's not to bad a price but yeah still a lot of money. I am able to get the 77" with 5 year warranty for £3599 from a place I bought my 65 from who have been around a long time.

You could get a 83 inch samsung oled for £3400, just a thought.
