I need a csc with a prime, i would love one with a wide prime, i have been looking at fuji but anything considered.
I would also like one with raw and manual controls. my price bracket is anything below £400

many thanks

How wide is wide?

Possibilities -

Olympus E-PL5/E-PM2 + Panasonic 14mm
Panasonic GM1 + 14mm (over budget but can sell the new kit lens and buy a 14mm and recoup some money)
Sigma DPM1 Merril?

Can't see you getting a Fuji in budget unless second hand, but then you'd probably need to buy the 14mm second hand if going for one of the above options.

16mm on APS-C? Then you're looking at the Olympus 12mm for m43 which is also well over budget. The Panasonic 14mm is pretty sharp, tiny and very cheap used. Fuji have a 14mm but again, way over budget.

Are you after a prime mainly for reasons of size, or wanting a fast aperture? If you just want something nice and compact, then the Panaosnic GM1 + 12-32 kit at £429 from HDEW is good value and very small with decent performance, but the lens has a relatively slow aperture compared to the prime options.

Or for a really budget, but still decent option, you could get a used Panasonic GX1 and 14mm for £200-250. I have that combo for just slinging in a pocket when I'm out for a stroll and it works pretty well.

One of the m43 camera with the Panasonic 14mm f/2.5 prime is really tiny and cheap. 28MM FF equivalent.

When you say 16mm, on what sensor size, APS-C? so 24mm FF?
Sony NEX have a 16mm f28 prime but it is pretty bad.
