Hi,

Okay I have the HP Microserver, installed WHS2011 adn so far so good. Picked up fine on the network no problem, can connect to each computer and vica versa. BUT for the life of me I can't get the remote desktop connection to connect.
It finds the server okay but then asks me for a user name and password and I have no idea what this is

I setup a user and password on the server during installation but these dont work. I dont have a password on the client so am outta passwords to use.

Can anyone help me with this, im using Windows 7 as the client.

Username is administrator
Password is whatever you set

You could have saved yourself a bit of money and put Freenas on the microserver.

hmmm well bit too late now

but to be fair im very happy with WHS2011 and cost me less than 40 quid so im not complaining.
