right i have just taken the plunge and gone for one of these budget c2d the e2140 and the evga 650i ultra mobo and 2gig of ocz platinum ddr2 800
right so far i have hit 2.8Ghz which is a damn fine overclock but in this game you`ve allways gotta push that bit further
i have disabled various things in the bios but have pretty much left most of the voltages alone except the cpu which i have pushed up to 1.45 but still no joy at 2.9Ghz.
at the mo i`m @ 350Mhz bus X8 1.320v with mem at 400Mhz 4 4 4 15.
so just curious i have i hit the limit with this mobo or can i squeeze more and how
i would love to hit the magical 3Ghz.
either way i`m happy,top chip and cheap price(thanks again OcUK)
