my 1.9 HGT (JTD) Multijet is far from the description above- the engine that is- fair enough there are some areas in which that would apply with ride quality being one of them.

Surely people should be attempting to help the OP by answering the question asked i.e. where to look to buy instead of pointlessly bad mouthing FIATs.

re: original question, when i bought mine i just trawled autotrader constantly until i found what i was looking for which admittedly did take some time as there were not too many of the 1.9 HGT Multijets around

yeah ive only ever seen 1 :p

not mush good blabbing on about petrol puntos when the OP is after a diesel one :p
 
1.9 JTD is about 80bhp.

Quite a quick little motor, rare though.

Good luck finding one, make sure gearbox doesn't crunch when going into reverse.

If clutch judders - It's a warranty issue obvious 53 reg +.

Creaky rear suspension is just dry bushes - easy fix, nowt worse than a dry bush :D

Only driven one once, and it was a couple of years ago.

Very quick, loads of torque steer and loads of fun!
