Looking for a good FPS

world at war, only played the single player but it was pretty good

far cry 2 was god awful, especially that damn intro sequence.

I'd recommend stalker, clear sky over shadow of Chernobyl.

Can I shamelessly plug my old ut04 clan server here?

They are a vctf (the v stands for vehicles) clan with a 20 slot public server offering a good selection of excellent maps, and some oddities.

Yeah, Clear Sky is another very good game. For me the Stalker games take gaming to a higher level than a majority of the first person shooters out there.

I've just started playing Clear Sky. Loved Shadow of Chernobyl and haven't played a PC game for over a year. Very good games.

I know its not an FPS game but one game I think is great is Dead Space.

Yer i'd highly recommend dead space, although it is quite cliched, i'd say its at the very top of the genre.

Team Fortress 2 has very good multiplayer and is sort of kind to inexperienced FPS players... probably my favourite game for years

I have to admit i'd never recommend any COD for any single player, multi its amazing but single player just plainly sucks

Stalker is a good game if you patch it to Doom!!! Gears of War is good on PC to.
