I'm looking to replace my current launch K750 with a high end keyboard. It will be used for both gaming and normal general use so I don't want something that looks too bling. However I would like it to be backlit and it must be good for gaming.

I took a quick look at the Razer Blackwidow Ultimate in the purple shirt place and the keys seemed comfortable but wanted to do more research before spending the £125 it cost. So something up to that price is acceptable.

Must be wired.
Illumination preferred.
Budget up to around £125.
Must not be too flash, over the top, bling.

Any recommendations? Thank you.

I don't understand "high end" keyboards.
A keyboard is a keyboard, perfectly happy on my £19 K360.
But anyway wait for the K95 :D

I went from a K750 to a Razer Deathstalker, its got chiclet keys like the K750 which I liked.

I preferred the typing feel of the K750, felt like my fingers danced across it. This feels more "direct" to type on, less spongey keys more of a tactile response. I think its better for gaming.

I love my blackwidow especially when typing in the dark! The usb and headset passthrough is great as well as the ability to record macros :)

Cherry blue keys are loud as hell at 3am though :D
