i currently have a logitech g500 its a really nice mouse and well built and i have tried to get used to it for quite awhile now but my hand espically my fingers just ache it feels too bulky and high thought i would ask the wealth of knowledge on here for some advice on a new mouse looking for something low profile, comfortable and hopefully with some programable buttons(pretty standard on mouses these days) i have a trust cxt14 http://www.trust.com/_images/products/500/16344.jpg
(bought for a fiver) and its lovely but its fairly cheap and nasty and has a pretty poo laser but fits my hand really nicely.

and recomendations?

thanks for the replys guys not sure on that zowie expensive yet looks like a £20 mouse and doesnt even have braided cable like u mentioned.

yeah ive seen those g9x they look nice but still look a little high and look pretty wide my friend has one so may try his for fit if i can.

really like the look of it and like how the buttons are positioned and how the finger buttons are curved up at the ends looks like it would be super comfy.
are these reliable? well built whats the software like that comes with them?
is it a low profile mouse?
i use a boogie board xl mouse matt as i know sometimes mice dont like certain surfaces.

Yeah I just read there was the 2013 model out.

Also looked at the rat 5 looks to have good reviews
Know much about these?

Deathadder is the opposite of low profile, it fills your entire hand when you use it.

I would reccomend the sensei or the logitech g300, depending how much you want to spend.

Possibly razer taipan worth a look aswell, everyone who has one seems to be happy with it.

When I say low profile I don't mean small mouse I mean that it isn't tall so the hump on the mouse as such is low rather than higher if this makes sense so that your hand is flatter rather than bent
.thanks for the replys will check the above mouses out I have ordered the blackadder 2013 though and should be with me tomorrow so can try it out if it doesn't fit my shoe I shall send it back so if anyone has anymore suggestions please say as I really am on the hunt for the right mouse this time

small is relative. They aren't that much smaller, but they are flatter.

Nobody can know what will serve you best. You should probably try a few locally, or have a ballpark idea of the type of mouse you want (comparing to well known models). It's just one of those things that are mostly subjective (apart from number of buttons, macros, ect...).
