looking for a new back-up program

looking to replace my powerquest drive image v5 backup software with something newer and easy to use, any suggestions, looked at acronis true image but that gets some poor reviews from users on sites like download.com and amazon.

main use is backing up my OS and data, and if i have a hard drive failure been able to use the backup to put onto a new hard drive.

I went for acronis based on the input from people on here, it's been a revelation. Definitely worth the purchase and I'm sure other users will say the same.

Acronis Echo Workstation with Universal Restore, for those times when your machine is totally fubar'd and you need to install on a totally new bit of kit
You can always purchase the universal restore at the point when you need it if you have another machine to get on t'interweb
