Looking for a new case :)

Awww :(
I was looking around earlier but couldn't find one. I guess my best bet may be to go to Tottenham Court Road and just go in and out of all the stores there :(

I don't think I have a local computer shop :p Least not to my knowledge.

v1000 = one of the biggest flops ever for most people.

v1000+ / +II = one of the best cases ever made.

Basically, everything wrong with the v1000 is fixed in the + versions, as you can see in my picture, a PSU will fit.

i notice aswell on the plus versions there is a side vent with fan over the card slots wonder if ocuk will get these in ?

OcUK has the +II which is what you are speaking of, its what they are shipping at the moment. :)

They can only guarantee you will get the +I case mind, as they can use the same box for both.

I wish I could see these cases in person somewhere :( make my life a bit simpler.

That's what the Distance Selling Regulations are all about. They allow you to buy a product and evaluate it, just as you would in the store. If you don't like it, then you can send it back, unused, and the store has to accept it. OcUK are very good about this.

Postage would have to be paid, of course.

I just went to tottenham court raod, and found a couple of shops stocking most of these cases.

Thermaltake Shark, i've ruled out completely. Just didn't like the look of it

Lian li v 2000 was in stock, and the 1000 is just a smaller version. contrary to everyone saying it loooks much ebtter in person, I didn't care for it much and am on the verge of ruling it out.

The armor, I liked the look of it a bit more in person, but i don't care too much for the USB and other ports being on top instead of the side, and more importantly, I like the look of the black one much more than the silver one. Unfortunately, black means stell and a weight of 16kgs, as compared to the aluminium 7.5 kgs of the silver one.

Still a bit confused because no case seems to jump out to me and say "Buy me, buy me!" or something along those lines :p

Are there any other recommendations anyone has? Il probably go back and look at other shops. Maybe I can find the Akasa eclipse 62 somewhere and see how that looks in person as well.

Sorry im being so nitpicky and fussy :( but i'm spending a lot of money and don't want to get something I don't REALLY like. Although i'l have to make a decision soon.

Just an update. I went again today, found a shop selling the Akasa eclipse 62 and I liked the look of it, so i'm going for that :D

Will this be good for what I need? serve all my purposes and all?

Also, will the scythe ninja fit easily?

Also, how does this compare to the Lian Li 101? I liked the look of that one too :)
And yes, i've been converted to these over the thermaltake :p

and regardless of price? what's the best?

Or are these it? ^_^

Also, would I need to add anythign else for optimum cooling? Also wanted to check if a scythe ninja plus (still debating about if I need it or not, because i'm not overclocking) would fit in the case?

And thanks for the side panel advice, i've added it to the order :) One of them is what I need right? not two? (I feel a bit stupid asking this, but just want to check to be sure :p)

Sorry, little bit off topic :) But back on, cant go wrong with Lian Li in my eyes, just the top end ones now are getting too expensive for me :(
