Hey everyone,
I built my first PC about a year ago specifically for gaming. About this time each year I have a little bit of extra money to spend due to bonuses and so I'm looking to spend a few hundred getting some upgrades. The first thing I need however is the case. I went with a BitFenix case as I didn't want to spend too much initially and while it's been ok it is simply cheap and cheerful.
I don't really know loads tech wise so I do have a few questions. The case I have is a mid tower, is it worth going full or mid again? My current case only has one case fan so I'm guessing I'm looking for a new one with a few more.
The case can also get a bit noisy. There's only a few newer games that do it like Far Cry 3 and Tomb Raider and I'm wondering if a case upgrade may be a solution. It's not terrible but it's noticeably louder on those games.
My budget would be between £100 - £200.
I have these if it helps:
Corsair Enthusiast Series TX550M
Gigabyte Z77-D3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard
HIS HD 7950 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
Cooler Master Hyper 412S CPU Cooler
Thanks in advance!
