I took delivery of a Miele 5281 clean care vacuum today. Got it for £180 on special offer, think its gone back up to £200 now. Its the 2200watt hepa filter model.
Got it as it seemed to be pretty popular in this thread and I can see why. I was going to go for the cheaper Henry but glad I decided to pay the extra £70. Still considering a Henry as a DIY vacuum for wood dust etc.
So thanks for the recommendations and if the OP is still looking for a vacuum then you will definitely be pleased with the Miele. I had a Dyson before this and the Miele is far better. More power and no need to wash out the filter all the time.
Oh and does anyone know where I can get the bags cheap? The expensive bags seem to be the only downfall.
