I am currently shopping around to find a good system drive to buy when I got back to uni. Needs to have a few things.

1) Reliable of course
2) Have a large amount of space as I play a lot of games (currently have around 300 GB of games installed)
3) Have good performance
4) Not be too expensive

I was wondering if anyone could recommend anything in the 1TB area for a system drive, to hold Windows 7, all my apps and games

Thanks ^^

The green is better suited to storage, theyre low power consumption and low noise, but this is done by lower speed, they use "intelipower" and refuse to reveal the actual speed stating its between 5400 and 7200 rpm, common concensus is its nearer 5400, so yeah theyre nice drives for storage but not as boot/app drive

WD caviar black, samsung spinpoint F1 and the hitachi desktar 1TB versions are all good

The caviar has a very good warranty though and very low access times, which if your using for games and general use is ideal

Out of interest, would the green be good for keeping media files on and playing them off? The black is definitely the drive I will look to get as a system drive. Sounds perfect for gaming =D
