I'm currently with ID Mobile but due to their crap customer service I need to move. I can't make any local calls and have contacted them about 7 times now without a fix so it's time to move.

I pay £10 a month for 4g, 300 mins, 1GB data and unlimited texts. I'm prepared to go on a 12 month contract if the price and network are good. I've looked at Three and EE as these seem to be talked about most. Any help/recommendations appreciated.

iD and Virgin are probably the cheapest atm. But virgin Customer service makes you want to scrape a fork against a metal surface whilst screaming the Alphabet backwards. (okay not always but 80% of the time imo).

Three are good overall, I would suggest try o2, service is good and overall good, but they are bit more pricey. HOWEVER, here's the main reason why, if you, or a relative, or know anyone who works for NHS, or McDonalds, Sainsburys (i think) or a other companies, they can get an o2 Open discount code which they can share up to 5 people last time i checked. they can check eligibility or you can check on the o2 open website if it's still about, and you get something like 15% discount a phone contract and 30% off sim only (don't quote me on this).

BT certainly had some good SIM only offers recently if you're already a customer with phone and/or broadband. I'm with Three now and not sure I can even go back to anyone now having got used to unlimited data, but bear in mind ID runs off their network so if you have bad signal with them then it may not be much better with Three.

I've found O2 to have a great customer service but again depends how good the signal is in your are. Out of all the ones I've tried I would avoid TPO though, utterly awful at handling anything, kept me walking round in circles and was left with a phone number that couldn't receive calls or texts for 2 months.
