Can't help but we are in a similar situation looking for a 100mm range cooker and sadly not having an epic budget! Current favourite is the rangemaster professional + but the feel wasn't as good as we were hoping!

keep a eye on ebay

we picked up a practically new 1k kenwood range (100cm i think) for £140 quid half a mile away

it still had the protection sticker things on it it was that new.

Our Rangemaster Kitchener 100 Dual Fuel is on it's second decade and still working as well as when we got it. Not had any easy life cooking for a foodie family of four, but the only parts I've had to replace were the builds on the cooker hood.

Replaced the chrome plated burner rings a few years back as constant cleaning had taken them down to bare aluminium in places.

How about something like this - http://www.smeguk.com/product/tr93bl/ - It's only 90cm, but it really is a great piece of kit.

The SMEG is hidden behind the rather large (and very bloody heavy) cast-iron pot of chilli. Would a Red Dwarf fan have anything else? :D

I know what you mean, it seams to be the case with a lot of them, I went to one stor and they seamed to have mostly unknown brand montpellier which it felt like tin, also most are dual fuel, I would rather have full gas.

I'm looking online but 90cm is the common size, I'm wanting something solid, ive had a look at smeg and baumatic, range master and ilve.

Not too long ago I had to purchase a new cooker. Went with a Bertazzoni in the end. Early days as yet so I couldn't comment on the longevity of the product but cooking wise I love it. Consistent, even bake every time I have used it (except the initial couple of efforts where I was adjusting to the quicker cooking times) fast getting up to temperature, quiet fan when using fan assist, powerful gas burners... So far very happy with it.

Bertazzoni would be nice but im not sure i can afford to spend 2500 on just the cooker.

The SMEG range really annoys me they have nice 90's nice 110's but the 100cm option is a bit rubbish.

Our house came with a Rangemaster Elan 110 (run from bottled LPG). Has been fine, with all the burners and two ovens an absolute delight when hosting Christmas. Front panel could do with replacing as the icons / dial indicators are partially worn-off - I think a replacement is circa £50.

I've replaced the grill elements which was pretty easy (bar losing one of the wires down the back for a few minutes).
