Looking for a sturdy case for 15" rMPB

Hi all,

Could anyone recommend a sturdy case for a 15" retina MBP? I need something that will survive car/train journeys and take a bit of a beating.

So far this is the best I can find, although not sure if it might be overkill?

I haven't used the Thule case you linked, but a colleague dropped an iPad Air 2 down a flight of steel stairs in a Thule semi-rigid case and the iPad was totally unharmed.

I guess it depends on how much the rMBP means to you and how much battering you think it's going to get.

Peli Products make some near indestructible laptop cases if you're super paranoid about breaking the rMBP.

I used to commute 90 miles a day on a bike and wanted something durable but not OTT. I opted for this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Thule-Gaunt...&qid=1450124357&sr=8-2&keywords=thule+macbook

It's subtle enough to fit into a backpack and doesn't look out of place being carried. I combined it with a Knomo messenger bag and have had zero issues.
