Looking for a webhost with reasonable prices/fast/large storage and data transfer

wrong section, but i'm with surpasshosting, have been for a few years, still based in US, but i pay £35ish a year and get 4gb space / 100gb traffic and unlimited everything else (php/mySQL/addon domains etc etc, speed is ok too even if they are in US.
 
for a host like that you could try Register1 which has 200gb monthly data transfer and 4gb disk space. Find them on Ochostreview. Currently at £49 per year.

ive always used vidahost and always will, i do a lot of gallery websites and they are all pretty quick at loading content and not too expensive.
 
If I went with register1 and also got a domain name from them is there anyway to hide the DNS contact lookup info? I'd rather not have my address shown to the public.

If this isn't possible with register1 is it possible to have a domain name that I already own pointed to the host at register1? I don't mean forwarding, i mean proper domain and location so if i type www.mydomain.com/info it will actually go to the /info folder on the server?
