looking for express/34 ssd

hi guys

i am looking for a ssd for my macbook pro to run photoshop and other applications of to help with boot time and rendering in some video programs and stuff,

now i have 2 options rip out the cd drive and add a ssd there or use the express/34 slot i am hopping to use the express slot as its well easer and i still have a cd drive lol,

so what can someone tell me about running an ssd over my express slot?

One option is to run an ExpressCard eSATA/SATA interface then use an external enclosure to provide the power. If the enclosure has eSATA even better but you could use an eSATA-SATA cable instead.

Your current HD drive is 5,400rpm at the moment?

as far as i can remember my hard drive is 72000 but not 100% on that is there a way to check on a mac?

yer i would like the extra drive to be added inside the macbook pro all the time so would like not to have something sticking out of it using something in the express slot would do this

also would i see a good speed increase by moving my applications so i run them from the ssd?
