i have the HS-000-RT Raijintek EreBoss High Performance CPU Cooler with the single fan attached.

1 x Raijintek EreBoss High Performance CPU Cooler

When i had system built by OverclockersUK i thought single fan version would be fine. but the cpu does overheat. Now i know it may only give me another 5 degrees but that will help and may clean and reseal it to cpu again with another thermal compound but i did understand best compound is used as standard.

so been looking all the way through the components for sale bat cant seem to find fan used.

anyone else use this rather large heat sink with two fans and what kind of fan did they use for a second fan and what other components are required to hold fan to heatsink block.

please can anyone help as need second pwm fan and spare.

Running a heat sink in push/pull offers no real benefit, maybe a 1 or 2c difference.

The only PWM fan that would maybe reduce your temps compared to the fan you already have is probily one of these, again it will only be a few degrees and it will be loud

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £29.69
(includes shipping: £8.70)

Also what do you mean the cpu overheats?

cant get correct fan needed. no longer do twin version or spare fans.

that fan will not work unfortunately size of fan is too large and the type of fan i need does not screw on to cpu block but some sort of rubber grips which would not work on such a large fan.

overheat as in when running my games and speed increases and is sustained at higher clock speed. the cpu heats up above allowable range and could cause damage.

fan you specified. more airflow but size all wrong.fan

Specification:
- Size: 120x120x25 mm

one that is on cpu heat block.
size i am looking for is
Fan Dimension: 92(W) x 92(H) x 25(D) mm
- Voltage Rating: 12V
- Starting Voltage: 7V
- Speed: 1000 ~ 2400 R.P.M.

- Air Pressure: 4.2 mmH2O (Max.)
- Life Expectance: 40,000 hrs
- Noise Level: 29.8 dBA (Max.)
- Connector: 4 pin with PWM

attached by rubber legs only come with cpu heatsink .

all in favour of better airflow but even having exact same make and model of fan will do as can fit fans at each end of heatsink fin block.

so if overclockers no longer do them i am kind of stuck as only alternative is throw away a brand new cpu heatsink fin block and fan. I had hped overclockers would sell spare fans or even have some in workshop i could buy but been unable to get a response from correct department system builders. :(:(:(
