Hi, I am looking to upgrade my 4 year old graphic card, I have a Asus HD 7970 Matrix Platinum 3072MB GDDR5. Looking for something that will obviously run newer games and older games better than previous. Looking to spend 200-300. I also have i7-4770k and 16GB DDR3 RAM.

I'm also getting a second monitor so 2 HDMI inputs would be handy.

edit: Games I play, Fallout 4, Overwatch & GTA 5

I would avoid the 480s and 1060s with them being so overpriced. Check out how much the 7970s are going for online since they are also still good cards a miner might be interested in paying premium for it. Sell it and just get a second hand 980ti. It will crush the 480/1060.

You could also get a 2nd hand R9 290, don't know about the UK but in Ireland they sell for about €150 2nd hand and they are still pretty damn good cards for 1080p ultra in most games. The 7970 should get you back €100 or so.

Then wait for the market to normalise once all this mining crap passes, as prices are crazy at the moment and everything is horribly overpriced.

A 2nd hand 980Ti is a good shout though, most of them would still have healthy warranty left as well.
