Hi, hoping to upgrade my system a bit to be able to run newer games smoothly, in particular with the upcoming release of BF3. Thanks to a couple of folks in here I have been advised that the only (for now) thing I need to think about is a new graphics card, but just not sure what to look at and in particular which model.

I was thinking about spending £150 ish but could stretch up to around the 200 mark if I would get a better deal. Basically I am looking to get the best bang-for-your-buck type card. I cant afford the latest cards and normally buy a slightly older card that can be oc'd or simply represents great value for money. I have a 24" monitor (the OCUK DGM model from a couple of years back) running at 1920x1200 and have a 500watt power supply. It has been suggested i should look at the 6950 or 560ti models, but also i have noticed that some of the 68xx models are good for oc'n a bit and would give a better performance for my money.

I dont really know enough about the cards to know one is better than the others so with that in mind if anyone could recommend a particular card or narrow down my search I would very much appreciate it.

Thanks :)
