Looking for Home Cinema Recomendations Circa £400

At your budget I'd stick with a stereo system, you'll get far better sound than a 5.1 system. Get a £150-£200 AVR £200-£250 standmount speakers.

Then buy the center, rears and subwoofer later.

If youre happy to go s/h then there are some good bargains to be had.
I picked up a pair of diamond 9 speakers for £25, a tanoy centre for £35 & a pair of Cambridge audio rears for £90.
Added a mission sub new for £75.

I had this powered by a Sony STR820 AV (£120 s/h) & it sounded good. Only recently upgraded to a Denon 2400H due to getting a new 4k tv.

Howdy All

Currently redecorating my living room and looking for recommendations on a home cinema setup (5.1 plus blue ray player) at around the £400 mark.

I own the slighty biger version of that, DO NOT BUY IT.

Hdmi arc is a nightmare the system freezes locks up there are stuff on the sony forums about these.

Mine was a gift they paid £600 for iti have the 7200 while dare i say it it dounds very good not dedicated amp good but seriously good anyhow. its jsut erm junk. im currently saving for a proper amp/speakers
