Looking for ideas ...

I am after a new PC. But what I want it maybe somewhat different. I do not play games that are that demanding - Eve Online and will play SWTOR and Guild Wars 2 when they come out but other than that strategy such as Hearts of Iron. I need storage for 500GB music and photo collection. I will have this PC in the lounge attached to a TV (1080p) for iPlayer etc and I would also like to have a DVD or Blu ray player (currently I use my 360 for films so am used to noisy players). My question is as thus - how could I tick these boxes as minimum cost.? Any ideas are greatly appreciated - I do know I want a smaller case to stand by the TV and a wireless card. Other than that I am open to all ideas.

Cheers for that suggestion. As for the noise I guess what I am trying to say is I am not after whisper quiet as am used to a 360 but would like to avert it if at all possible.
