Looking for map data to create a terrain mesh.

Does anyone know where I can find map data for England that would allow me to create a terrain mesh at a resolution of 10m?

Thanks for your suggestions, the reason I say 10m is because that is the claimed resolution of the wire frame used by the applicants for planning permission we are trying to oppose.

A wind turbine. The applicants have submitted a photo composite of how the wind turbine would look from a certain viewpoint using software called "windfarm", however it's accuracy looks to be questionable and they used a focal length of 50mm when taking the photo when the guidelines state that 75mm is preferred, so I've taken a photo from the same co-ordinates at 75mm and want to create my own composite from it using a similar methodology. The best solution I suppose would be to use the windfarm software bit I'm having a little trouble getting to grips with it tbh, I can't seem to find a way to import DEM data.

Wind turbine in the middle of the countryside very near by two equestrian businesses and a popular riding route. We successfully got it refused the first time but now they are appealing.

I think with the potential impact on the business of this project that expenditure would be justified!

Actually that ordnance survey link FuriousGeorge provided mentions a OS Terrain 5 product that appears to be accurate to 5m, I think it has to be purchased though.

I've received an email stating that their wireframe model is composed using 5m grid data, based on their methodology report which states they used ordnance survey data.

For each viewpoint a wireframe diagram is prepared using ‘Wind farm’ computer
software based on Ordnance Survey Landform Panorama and Profile elevation data
at 50m 10m and 5m resolution. Curvature of the Earth, atmospheric refraction and
transformation for a cylindrical projection are included in the wireframe generated.
The outline of the turbine is generated in the wireframe based on generic models
using the hub height and blade length from the candidate turbine.
