Doesn't really matter for the b450 as it'll only run at pcie3
But if keeping it for the future and minimal price difference then yes definitely get a pcie4 ssd

i thought they supported 4.0 but your right it was added with b550

Some B450 boards did enable PCIe 4 but AMD made them pull it.
